  • Apply for OOD (Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities) if appropriate

  • Revisit or start the eligibility process for your county’s Board of Developmental Disability Services

      • Boards of Disability Services can provide:

        • Support services

        • Respite

        • Waiver monies

        • Support for after exiting high school

      • Requirements change at age 16 and you will need to reapply to ensure your son/daughter is still eligible for services

  • Explore driver’s license or picture identification

  • For driver’s license:
